  7. is a salad plant. The family also includes
  8. the Asian spinach Spinacia oleracea of which
  9. the leaves are used as a vegetable; spinach
  10. beet, used as a spinach substitute, is Beta
  11. vulgaris cicle commonly known as goosefoot.
